So here I am... popping in again, like I do from time to time. I don't like that I haven't been getting on here as much as I used to, but school and life has gotten in the way... mostly school. Hate it when that happens.
I feel like a completely different person since the last time I popped in, which was some time in the beginning of this year (I know it may not seem that long ago to you) but it does to me. I've become more of a social person after joining the newspaper staff at my school but i'm still not that social, which should tell you a little something. I'm a photographer/copy editor/writer. And I haven't really written anything productive - as far as my short stories - in about 2 years. That sucks. I used to love writing... but now it seems so far away. I hate that. I had a talk with my mom last night (after she started bugging me about ACT crap like she has been lately) and she said that I should really start writing again... especially if I want to be majoring in something to do with Journalism or Publishing in college. And she started talking about how I neeeeeeed to get a scholorship to go to college - that she can't afford sending me without one. Then there's the classes that i've signed up for my senior year. That'll be a joy (**insert sarcasm**). I don't know how i'll survive it. Lol. I won't even tell you what I'm taking... 'cause you don't wanna know.

At least I have the summer to look forward to before all the massive bloodshed starts! I'm going to Florida with my best friend, Caitlin, before she heads off to college next year in Daytona Beach, Florida. That's about June 14 or 15... and I'll be staying there for a little over a week - in a condo right on the beach. Can't wait! When I get back, i'll be heading straight off to Chicago with my parents, brother, and boyfriend. Very excited about that as well. Then there's the three volleyball camps that i'll be going to with my high school team. Busy summer, huh? It'll be my first. Every year before this, my summer has just consisted of me sitting in front of the computer or stuck behind a book reading for hours on end. Not this year! time to finally have some fun - while i'm currently healthy - before getting down to business.

- So there's the mini-update for me. I'll be submitting more and more photos gradually throughout the next few weeks... at least that's something that hasn't changed about me... I still love taking pictures. I hope I get to talk to you all soon!
